Motorola's 2026 Razrs: Stunning Enough to Make You Forget They're Not Perfect
Motorola's 2026 Razrs are here, and they are absolutely gorgeous. Like, drop-dead, turn-heads, make-you-want-one gorgeous. The only problem? The software still doesn't quite live up to the hardware.
Let's start with the good stuff, because there's plenty of it. The new Razrs — both the standard and the plus model — have been redesigned with thinner bezels, better hinges, and even more premium materials. The cover screen is larger and more useful. The main display is Samsung-level quality. And the colours? Chef's kiss.
Motorola has clearly been paying attention to what makes foldables desirable. The Razr is lighter than the Galaxy Z Flip. It folds flat with no gap. The hinge mechanism feels rock-solid. In terms of industrial design, Motorola is winning the flip phone race.
But here's the catch: the software experience still lags behind Samsung and Google. Motorola's Android skin is clean but lacks some of the thoughtful features that make the Galaxy Z Flip series so compelling. Camera processing is inconsistent. And Motorola's update track record — while improved — still doesn't match the competition.
So should you buy one? If you care about looks and form factor above all else, absolutely. The 2026 Razrs are the most beautiful foldables money can buy. But if you want the best overall experience, Samsung and Google still have the edge.
