Why This Happens

Fashion is a notoriously trend-driven industry — and that applies to its values too. When diversity is trending, brands jump on it. When sustainability is hot, everyone's an eco-warrior. But maintaining those commitments requires real structural change, not just marketing campaigns. It means changing who's in charge, who gets funding, and whose voices are heard.

That kind of change is hard. And expensive. And uncomfortable for the people at the top.
