Sandals Opens Treasure Beach Village — A $150 Million Bet on Turks & Caicos
Sandals Resorts has opened the doors to Treasure Beach Village, a stunning $150 million, 101-suite expansion at Beaches Turks & Caicos that marks the beginning of what the company is calling "Beaches 2.0."
The new village is the first phase of a bold growth plan that will see the all-inclusive giant expand its footprint across the Caribbean. Treasure Beach offers a elevated experience, with premium suites, exclusive dining venues, and direct beach access designed to appeal to families looking for a step up from the standard all-inclusive offering.
This project has been five years in the making, and its completion is being seen as a vote of confidence in the Caribbean tourism sector, which has faced challenges from global economic uncertainty and shifting travel patterns.
"This is more than just a new village," a Sandals executive said at the opening ceremony. "This is a statement that the Caribbean remains the world's premier destination for sun, sand, and hospitality."
The expansion is expected to create hundreds of jobs in Turks & Caicos and boost the local economy significantly. For Caribbean travellers looking for the next great holiday spot, Treasure Beach just moved to the top of the list.
