Nationals MP Matt Canavan slams the Albanese government, claiming Australia deserves “better leadership”.
“Well, it couldn’t come soon enough, I just think bring it on,” Mr Canavan said.
“People are feeling a lack of leadership in this country, the Prime Minister doesn’t seem to have any answers.
“I think we deserve better leadership in this country to tackle the major issues we face.”
Sydney University’s constitutional law professor Anne Twomey has raised concerns about the federal government’s misinformation bill.
“Mostly it comes down to definitions – so what is misinformation and who decides what it is,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“At the moment, the bill effectively outsources this to the platforms, so it’s the digital platforms that are the ones that are responsible for deciding.”
Spectator Australia’s ‘Fire at Will’ podcast host Will Kingston says the “virtue signalling nonsense” from the government “infuriates” him.
Mr Kingston has slammed the government’s net zero defence plan for the ADF.
“This sort of diversionary nonsense is just so morally repugnant to me because for that very reason, that this is something that we should be taking much more seriously than what we are,” he said.
Former speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says Marco Rubio is an “excellent choice” for US Secretary of State.
“Remember what happened when he [Donald Trump] was elected in 2016? The thought hadn’t gone into it, but it has this time,” Ms Bishop said.
“Rubio is an excellent choice, and I think the choices he’s made to date are excellent choices.”

Menzies Research Centre senior fellow Nick Cater claims Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will lose seats in the next federal election and will “definitely” lose.
“This is one of the big problems of course for Albanese, he actually needs to increase his majority if he stands a chance of running a stable government,” Mr Cater said.
“He clearly is not going to do that, I mean he is definitely going to lose.”

Sky News host Rita Panahi claims America will see a “dynasty of Republicans in the White House” following the Democrats’ performance in the recent election.
“They [the Democrats] seem to be doubling down … on the craziness – the identity politics, the victimhood,” she said.
Ms Panahi added these are the “dogmas that have really crippled them as a party and alienated them from so much of their supporter base”.
Social media users have called out the "tension" between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during their first public appearance together since the election.
Biden and Harris appeared together at the Arlington National Cemetery for Veterans Day event on Monday.
This is the pair's first public appearance together since Harris lost the presidential election to Donald Trump last week.
However, tension was very high during Biden’s speech at the cemetery, as First Lady Jill Biden seemingly ignored Harris.
While Harris was seen occasionally smiling, Jill Biden sat stoically watching her husband’s speech emotionless.
Sky News host Peta Credlin claims Donald Trump pulled off a “clean sweep” of the seven battleground swing states in the presidential election.
“The transition team well and truly underway,” she said.
“They are already talking about the largest mass deportation in US history basically on day one.”
PR Counsel’s Kristy McSweeney discusses cryptocurrency in Australia amid its boom following Donald Trump becoming the 47th President of the US.
“Cryptocurrency in Australia is already regulated,” Ms McSweeney said.
“The ATO considers it an asset … but what’s not regulated is a whole raft of other stuff around crypto, including its integration in digital platforms.”
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has defended his decision to keep Kevin Rudd as Australia's Ambassador to the U.S. after resurfaced footage showed Rudd insulting President-elect Donald Trump.

Sky News host Peta Credlin has raised concerns over how the Albanese government's misinformation bill might impede on freedom of speech.
“Make no mistake this is a really dangerous bill that the government is determined to ram through before the election, with the support of the Teals and the Greens, doubtless to muzzle opinions it doesn't like,” Ms Credlin said.
“As has already happened to me, for instance, during the Voice debate. Now, we triumphed back then, because I had the backing of Sky News and our lawyers, and getting the information out there to voters was, in part, why the Voice was defeated resoundingly.
“But what happens if dissent is silenced, what happens if alternative views are not heard, if you don't get to hear all the facts?”
Adoni Media's Leisa Goddard claims Anthony Albanese may be in his new coastal property “sooner than he thinks” after he advocated for four-year prime minister terms.
“There is some argument the longer they’ve got in office if they’re a good government, then that’s great because they’ve got more time to actually deliver on all of the promises,” Ms Goddard said.
“When it comes to Albanese, right now I’m sure he’s wishing that he had a four-year term because it would put him in a good buffer zone before he has to go to the election.
“He may be in that cliff-top mansion sooner than he thinks.”
Sky News host Peta Credlin slams climbing bans placed on Victoria’s Mount Arapiles in an attempt to protect Indigenous rock art.
“More and more national and state parks are using the cover of Indigenous heritage to lock out Australians from accessing these natural wonders which are rightly the birthright of every one of us,” Ms Credlin said.
“The latest example of this race-based madness is in Victoria, where access and rock-climbing bans have been put in place.
“Some of this rock art is so degraded and faded it’s invisible to the naked eye.”
Menzies Research Centre’s Freya Leach claims Labor’s “fall from grace” over the last few years has been “truly remarkable”.
“Labor around the country should be extremely nervous,” she told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
This comes amid mounting speculation Prime Minister Anthony Albanese could call an early election for next year.
