Push for Labor government to endorse cryptocurrency following Donald Trump’s victory

PR Counsel’s Kristy McSweeney discusses cryptocurrency in Australia amid its boom following Donald Trump becoming the 47th President of the US.

“Cryptocurrency in Australia is already regulated,” Ms McSweeney said.

“The ATO considers it an asset … but what’s not regulated is a whole raft of other stuff around crypto, including its integration in digital platforms.”
