The public pension scheme is on hold. Finance Ministry has directed to find out the reasons for not increasing the intake. The pension authority is moving ahead keeping three to four things in mind. Consideration is being given to giving pleasure or one-time payments. Integrating insurance benefits with pension is also gaining importance. However, the ministry advised more caution in investing customer deposits. Analysts say more research is needed to make the schemes attractive.
