**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all machining processes. **Responsibilities**

* Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes and milling machines, including Fanuc controls.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce precise parts.
* Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust tooling as needed for optimal performance.
* Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; utilize hand tools, power tools, and tooling effectively.
* Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any malfunctions or repairs needed promptly.
* Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.

**Skills**

* Proficiency in CNC programming, including experience with Fanuc controls or similar systems.
* Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles for accurate manufacturing.
* Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes, tooling selection, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
* Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM), plastics injection molding, welding, and assembly is a plus.
* Familiarity with SolidWorks or CAD software for part design review and modifications.
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines confidently.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency.
* Ability to operate forklifts and power tools safely; familiarity with safety standards related to manufacturing environments.
