**Talent Development Manager** The Waldinger Corporation | Des Moines, IA


**About the role**

At Waldinger, talent development has a real impact on how our people and organization grow. We're looking for an experienced L&D professional to lead our learning initiatives — bringing both the strategic vision to shape direction and the hands-on expertise to deliver results.


**What you'll own*** **Learning Programs:** Oversee and evolve a comprehensive suite of learning initiatives, ensuring they remain effective, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals.
* **Needs Assessment & Analysis:** Identify skill gaps and opportunities across the organization, using data and stakeholder input to inform priorities.
* **Training Facilitation:** Facilitate sessions and coordinate with internal and external facilitators to maintain consistently high-quality delivery.
* **Impact Measurement & Reporting:** Track outcomes and ROI, and share regular insights with senior leadership to guide continued investment in learning.
* **Technology & Platforms:** Leverage LMS tools and virtual learning solutions to keep programs scalable and accessible.
* **Stakeholder Partnership:** Work closely with leaders across the business to keep talent development connected to what the organization needs most.




**What you bring*** 5–7 years of L&D experience across the full lifecycle — strategy, design, delivery, and measurement
* Bachelor's in HR, Education, Business, or related field; master's in Organizational Development or equivalent preferred
* Strong instincts for instructional design, facilitation, and learning technology
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and translating business needs into learning solutions
