As a Brewer, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality craft beer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing brewery. Responsibilities: - Execute all aspects of the brewing process, including milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, and conditioning - Monitor and control fermentation parameters to ensure consistent product quality - Perform yeast management tasks, including pitching, cropping, and propagating yeast - Operate and maintain brewhouse equipment including but not limited to pumps, heat exchangers, fermenters, and packaging tanks. - Clean and sanitize brewing equipment to maintain a sanitary brewing environment - Package finished beer into kegs, cans, or bottles using appropriate equipment - Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards throughout the brewing process - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment - Collaborate with other team members to develop new beer recipes and improve existing ones Qualifications: - Minimum of 1+ years of experience (2-3 preferred) as a Brewer making wort independently in a production brewery with a 5bbl or larger brew system - Strong knowledge of brewing processes, techniques, and equipment - Familiarity with warehouse operations in the food industry is preferred - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues related to brewing equipment - Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Skills: The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills: - Brewing: Proficient in all aspects of the brewing process from milling to packaging. - Package: Experience with packaging finished beer into kegs or bottles. - Warehouse: Familiarity with warehouse operations in the food industry. - Food safety: Understanding of food safety principles and practices. - Sanitation: Ability to clean and sanitize brewing equipment to maintain a sanitary brewing environment. - Mechanical knowledge: Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on brewing equipment.
