'Sasagot tayo': Dizon says DPWH open to probe amid new Senate, Blue Ribbon leadership | ANC

Public Works Secretary Vince Dizon said the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is ready to cooperate with any Senate investigation following recent changes in Senate leadership.

Speaking during an inspection of flood control and infrastructure projects in Arayat, Pampanga on Thursday, Dizon stressed that the agency has nothing to hide. "Sasagot tayo," he said, assuring that the DPWH will fully respond to any inquiries from the new Senate leadership and the Blue Ribbon Committee.

Dizon's remarks come amid expectations that the upper chamber will intensify scrutiny of major government infrastructure projects. He noted that the DPWH welcomes oversight as part of efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation of flood mitigation and road projects.

The inspection in Pampanga formed part of the department's routine monitoring of ongoing works in Central Luzon. Dizon said the agency remains focused on completing projects on time while maintaining proper documentation for possible legislative review.

He added that the DPWH will continue to coordinate with lawmakers to address concerns and improve project delivery across the country.
