We’re looking for a Tax Manager who is not only technically strong, but also communicates well, collaborates effectively with others, and naturally builds trust with both clients and our team. **Position Overview:** * Lead, mentor, and develop staff, including keeping the team current on tax law changes and guiding how those changes are applied and communicated to clients * Serve as a main point of contact and advisor for clients * Review complex individual, business, partnership, and trust tax returns * Handle tax research and resolve complex issues * Ensure compliance with federal and Hawaiʻi tax laws * Manage workflow, deadlines, and quality control * Review and adjust client books and workpapers; coordinate with bookkeeping to ensure accurate, tax-ready financials **Qualifications:** * 3+ years tax experience * CPA or EA (or actively working toward certification) * Strong knowledge of federal + Hawaiʻi tax * Experience with complex returns and tax planning * Organized, reliable, and client-focused * Experience with UltraTax CS preferred **Work Hours:** * Generally, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. * Overtime during busy season or projects as needed **Compensation:** * Salary: $80,000 - $100,000, including tax season and year-end bonuses * Flexible hybrid work options * Full benefits package, including: health and dental insurance, profit sharing retirement plan, and paid covered parking * Full support for professional development, including CPE and AICPA membership reimbursement * Clear path for advancement and leadership growth within the firm * Paid time off, sick leave, and vacations Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Continuing education credits * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Life insurance * Opportunities for advancement * Paid sick time * Paid time off * Parental leave * Profit sharing * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Honolulu, HI 96817
