Must be experienced and reliable in using a welder and welding product. Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation. **Principle Duties and Responsibilities** * Must be able to operate welder and welding machinery and tools * Completes work area set up * Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed manner and in accordance with quality standards * Operates equipment and tools as required to complete assembly process * Prevents and controls waste of raw material * Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards * Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate * Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns * Maintains a clean and orderly work environment * Provides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when required * Maintains production records as required * Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards * Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings * Performs other duties as assigned **Qualifications** * Working knowledge of Company products and specifications * Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Ability and skill to MIG weld and operate fabrication shop machinery * Ability to measure accurately * Working knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to a shop environment * Effective communication, teamwork, production, and stress management skills * Ability to easily adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with or without using a calculator Computer literate * *The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
