If you are passionate about behavioral health nursing and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented setting, we encourage you to apply and advance your career with us. **Shift Schedule:** Day Shift / Night Shift **Qualifications:** * Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a psychiatric hospital required * A Level One Fingerprint Card is required. * Current RN license and AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire * CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire * Knowledge of growth and development principles, with the ability to assess, interpret data, determine patient care needs, and deliver age-appropriate care * Understanding of the legal aspects of nursing and the importance of accurate, timely documentation according to standards, policies, and procedures **Job-Specific Duties:** * Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings * Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team * Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions * Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per facility protocols * Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and continuing care * Monitor and record patients’ physical and emotional status, reporting any significant changes * Ensure the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment * Participate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetings * Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines at all times ***For more information and all of our openings, visit our website: www.cmcphoenix.com/careers*** ***Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
