**Job Responsibilities:**

##### **Job Summary and Qualifications**
The HRSC Tier I Customer Service Representative will perform administrative, and data/records management activities in support of HR and HRIS functions, including interpreting life-cycle reports, onboarding, status change, compensation, separations, etc. The HRSC Customer Support Tier I Representative will work under direction from the HRSC Supervisor to ensure HR service delivery is consistently high-quality.
In this role you will:
* Provides customer service by answering HRAnswers calls, documents all customer inquiries and resolutions received via phone calls. Ask HR, Chat, mailboxes or alternative streams of input in order to identify, diagnose, and initiate research necessary to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, as needed

**Position Responsibilities**

**Position Requirements**

Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.

This is not an entry level position. At least one year of detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is required to apply. The City of Caldwell is looking for a Sports Coordinator to join the Recreation Department. Individual will perform a variety of tasks related to planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and directing adult and youth recreation activities and programs including classes, athletic leagues and tournaments; performs other tasks as assigned.
The principal function of an employee in this class is to design, organize, implement, monitor, and manage activities and programs associated with the Recreation Department. Individual is required to monitor and direct referees, umpires, scorekeepers, instructors, and ball field maintenance crews. The duties are performed under the supervision of the Sports Coordinator Supervisor, with leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. Individual provides close to general supervision to recreation program leaders, instructors, officials, teachers, and contract employees. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with City officials and employees, recreation coordinators and participants, school districts, and the general public. Principal duties of this class are performed in an office environment and on-site locations for recreation/special events and include weekend and evening hours. Duties may be performed in an outdoor environment, which may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards.
**Responsibilities**
--------------------
* Plans, coordinates and implements adult and youth sports programs including tournaments, youth camps, summer programs, basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, softball, football, and associated tournaments.
* Assists in developing recreational program budget for youth and adult sports programs.
* Coordinates, supervises, develops, and fosters working relationships with school districts, personnel, businesses, staff and public in using recreational facilities in a joint use agreement to enhance recreational programs in the area.
* Organizes and monitors umpires, referees and scorekeepers for league play and tournaments.
* Ensures the attendance of umpires, referees and scorekeepers at scheduled games and finds replacement officials if necessary.
* Provides assistance at special events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Fun Runs, etc. as supported and implemented by the Caldwell Recreation Department.
* Maintains the upkeep and chemicals of the City’s public pool and performs building maintenance as necessary.
* Coordinates with sports coordinator supervisor in scheduling and managing work time around office duties and coordination of recreation/special events, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
* Recruits and recommends officials, instructors, and other staff to Sports Coordinator Supervisor.
* Develops, markets and advertises youth and adult sport programs by providing announcements to inform the community of recreations opportunities.
* Maintains ball field grounds, which includes preparation and maintenance of all City baseball/softball fields.
* Maintains the upkeep of recreation facilities and applicable equipment.
* Supervises ball field maintenance crew, special events instructors and officials.
* Maintains inventory of equipment and requests equipment as necessary.
* Opens and closes facilities for special interest classes.
* Attends organizational meetings associated with sports/recreation activities.
* Promotes and advertises the City’s recreation programs.
* Schedules and arranges facilities for programs use.
* Monitors program budgets and keeps accurate records of program/events revenues and expenses.
* Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices.
* Keeps immediate supervisor and designated others fully and accurately informed concerning work progress, including present and potential work problems and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing such problems.
* Responds to citizens’ questions and comments in a courteous and timely manner.
* Communicates and coordinates with others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities to help keep a positive work environment as well as works as a team member.
* Respects the opinion of others and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with employees, supervisors and others.
* Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of this classification.
* Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
**Minimum Qualifications**

* Graduation from a high school or possession of a GED
* At least two years' full time or equivalent work experience coordinating Recreation and/or Sports programs, demonstrating knowledge of various sports rules and regulations. Coaching experience does not qualify.
* At least one year work experience prepping and maintaining ballfields, operating irrigation and sprinkler systems; and operating trailers and utility vehicles.
* Proficiency in Canva, Publisher, Word or similar computer program used to create various event flyers and marketing materials.
* Possession of a valid driver’s license.
* Subject to varying shift hours, including evening and weekend work as necessary.
* Successful completion of pre-employment background check, drug testing and physical.
* Certified Sports Official or Youth Sports Administrator preferred.
* Experience in a City, County, or State municipality recreation program preferred.
