    **What We're Looking For:**We are seeking an entry level **Civil / Mechanical Associate** for the pipeline engineering team that will be responsible for performing engineering analysis and design support for pipeline related engineering projects. This position will involve interdisciplinary coordination within the Alaska operation. Our team is dedicated to growing our early career engineers within this niche market.


    **What You'll Do:**In this position, you will support pipeline/piping engineering, pipeline maintenance, launcher/receiver design/engineering, pipeline hydraulics, structural support engineering, and writing/reviewing material requisitions for pipelines and piping systems.


    **What You Need to Succeed:*** Four-year degree (BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering) required.
    * EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
    * Willingness to cross train in pipeline structural analysis is preferred.
    * Applicant will be required to apply national and client specifications to support engineering design and analysis.
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross discipline team; and the ability to clearly and effectively interpret data.
    * Ability to engage the team in problem solving, willing to ask questions and reach out for continued learning and development.
    * Use of Microsoft Suite of tools with heavy emphasis on Excel is desired.
    * Experience in AutoPipe or CAESAR, AutoCAD (basics), PIPESIM or AFT Suite, MathCAD, and RISA experience or other finite element software is a plus.

    **Compensation:**The approximate compensation range for this position is $68,493 - $110,761 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.

    * Able to read and mix recipes for food service items.

    Major Pre-season Responsibilities:

    * Complete athlete education following ASAA and NSBSD TAD and Concussion Policies.
    * Responsible for accurate and timely completion of NSBSD athletic participation and parental consent forms.


    Major In-season Responsibilities:

    * Issues equipment and uniforms to athletes and maintains a record of issued items.
    * Plans, organizes, and implements the teaching of fundamentals, strategy, rules, and technique.
    * Maintains a properly supplied first aid kit at all times.
    * Implements procedures for handling injuries and completes injury report forms.
    * Assists Principal/Activities Director in pre-game activities.
    * Provide supervision of athletes from the beginning of the trip/activity until students are released to home.
    * Provides an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and assists visiting teams, coaches, and officials.
    * Provide a list of students playing and/or traveling eight (8) days prior to the scheduled activity begins.


    Major Post-season Responsibilities:

    * Turn in a list of collected inventories, store equipment, and turn in uniforms and season record (opponents and scores) to Principal/Activities Director.
